The Project includes filter rehabilitation work at the Wylie Complex Water Treatment Facilities. The work generally consists of removing and replacing filter media in 18 filters; inspecting, cleaning, repairing, or replacing filter underdrain systems as directed by inspection results; installing underdrain retention caps; performing filter startup and testing; and completing related filter coating repairs, crack repairs, gullet repairs, and miscellaneous concrete rehabilitation. The project also includes filter effluent piping modifications at Plant II and Plant III, installation of piping couplings/flanges/supports, and structural modifications to construct or repair expansion joints at designated filter locations.
